Our opinion on this wine
Voyage/Voyage XXII - Vin de France - Château Lestignac
First very small harvest of Savagnins (planted in 2018) blended equally with the Sauvignons next door. This is a 2022 that has been aged 18 months in demi muid.
It promises to be a real tension-fest, but we can't wait to hear all about it!
Vinification : The grapes were pressed directly. The juices were sent to demi muid for fermentation. Aging : The wine was left to mature in demi muid for 18 months. 700 bottles produced for this first vintage!

Dive into the heart of natural wine and its refined flavours
At Petites Caves, we live for natural wine. Our mission? To reveal passionate winemakers who respect the earth and share with you the essence of authentic wine. Managed by passionate winemakers, our online cellar is the benchmark website for natural wine enthusiasts!What is natural wine?
Natural wine, also known as vin naturel, is a philosophical choice aimed at rediscovering the natural expression of terroir. The grapes are processed according to the principles of Organic Agriculture: no chemicals, pesticides or herbicides. The grapes are harvested manually and mechanically to preserve the living character of the wine during vinification. No chemicals are added to control fermentation, with the exception of sulfites in very small quantities in certain cases (the maximum tolerated doses of total SO² are 30mg/l for reds and 40mg/l for whites).No human intervention alters the bacterial life of the wine. The flavour of natural wine is therefore preserved thanks to:
● organic or biodynamic cultivation in the vineyard;
● manual harvesting;
● use of indigenous yeasts for fermentation;
● no harsh techniques for the wine such as reverse osmosis or pasteurisation;
● no oenological inputs apart from no or little added sulphite.
Our selection of natural / no added sulphite wines
Have you ever tasted a wine without added sulphite? This is a wine with no added sulphur. This means that winemaker allows the natural development of yeast to do its work, from the vine to the bottle. Natural sulphur compounds may form at very low levels, but no sulphite is added by humans in the process. And the good thing is that natural wine without added sulphite is
healthier and does not give you a headache. All the manipulations during the winemaking process are gentle and slow so as not to disguise the soul of the wine, far from the formatted and conventional practices.By choosing this ethical and responsible path, the winemaker works his terroir by ploughing with care. He protects the subsoil from which the roots of the plant draw, and cares for the ecosystem as a whole.
Natural and organic wines from the greatest wine regions.The organic wines in our online wine cellar allow you to tour France and find THE wine that will accompany your meals and events: Bordeaux, Provence, Alsace, Burgundy, Champagne, Loire Valley, Languedoc, etc. Discover also wines from Italy, Austria, Spain, Australia or Portugal to make your palate travel.
The aromatic bouquet of these natural wines will surprise you. The successive transformations carried out by the indigenous yeasts offer a long and calm vinification to allow the wines to give free rein to all their refined flavours. Discover them and share beautiful moments of pleasure and conviviality!
