We're talking to you about his Winery
The Winery Bertrand and Axelle Machard de Gramont is a relatively small Winery in the commune of Nuits-Saint-Georges. A Winery of 6 hectares in total, located mainly in the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation, but also with parcels in Vosne-Romanée and Vergy. Winery was created in 1984 by Axelle's father Bertrand. Before that, he worked with two of his brothers. One of them married Chantal Lescure who owned many vineyards and houses in the area. They created a Winery together, which represented 32 hectares, with vines in Vosne-Romanée, Pommard, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, les Vallerots and Nuits-Saint-Georges, all in the beautiful and great Burgundy. Then they decided to go their separate ways. |
This great Winery has become 3 areas:
In 2001, the surface area reached 6 hectares thanks to the spectacular replanting of the "climat" of Les Vallerots, on a virgin terroir, partly abandoned since the phylloxera tragedy. Here is a Winery who works admirably well to really try to express in each of the vintages, its "climate", a strong and emblematic notion of Burgundy. |
