La Belle Rouge - Cairanne 2016 - Marcel Richaud & Petites Caves
Second collaboration for this cuvée on the 2016 vintage. Contrary to the classic Cairanne of Winery, we have chosen to age it in demi-muid (a few wines old = no new wood) for 12 months.
A wine which plays between the power of the perfumes, its lumpiness, but also on the freshness. Very dense and deep color (opaque).
The nose is complex and plays with red fruits plums, prunes, chocolate notes, black olives, blond tobacco, dried flowers, and a super light woody aromatic touch, fine and elegant.
Very ample mouth with a remarkably fine and silky touch. The complexity of the nose is there for a long finish on stewed fruits and blond tobacco. Beautiful power !
