We're talking to you about his Winery
After 7 years with the Pfifferling family (Winery fromAnglore), Romain le Bars set up his own business in 2018 with a little over a hectare of vines in Tavel. At that time, he continued to work as a farm labourer at Winery fromAnglore and at the same time managed the harvest of his own freshly acquired Grenache and Syrah vines (April 2018). The winemaking is done in his garage, with great care, but not without mastery! His first vintage was an absolute success with two cuvées, a Tavel and a Vin de France, which were immediately noticed by connoisseurs. Low yields, manual harvesting, little or no intervention in the cellar (low SO2 content), this is the DNA of Romain's wines. Vinification is done in carbonic maceration, with direct pressing. The wines are then aged in barrels of several wines. |
In the vein of Pfifferling's vintages, the wines are infused, pure and bring out the fruit as well as floral notes, all with controlled acidities bringing a freshness that goes so well with the wines of the region! Since 2019, Romain has devoted himself fully to his Winery which he has been able to expand (10 hectares today), diversifying at the same time theGrape varieties from Winery. He has also left his garage to make his wine in a 200 square metre cellar. Be careful with Le Bars, the bar will be high; here is a future great name of Tavel wines! |
