The vines planted with Cabernet Franc and Chenin, on a magnificent tufa hillside on the Saumur side, produce natural wines, signed Sébastien Bobinet, of impeccable honesty, fine and brilliant. The wines Amatéus Bobi and Echalier are matured in barrels in the beautiful and historic cellar of Winery, also in tuffeau, giving life to the Amatéus Bobi and Echalier vintages. Joined today by his partner Emeline Calvez, former dancer turned sommelier, Winery takes on a new dimension and asserts itself as a sure value of natural wines made in the Loire! When he took over his grandparents' vineyards in 2002, Sébastien had to fight to get his way of working accepted. | Already, he imposes organic farming on the friendly advice of Olivier Cousin. His relentlessness in the vineyard will prove him right... what wines! In 2007, Sébastien's desire to experiment was felt. He first began to work on carbonic maceration under the influence of Bernard Pontonnier, a figure of natural wine. Then came the time to expand with 2 hectares of Cabernet Franc, which was then leased again, and then with the desire to vinify other grape varieties (Pineau d'Aunis, Gamay...) that Sébastien bought. To taste Bobinet is to adopt it! |
