- EXCLUSIVE at Petites Caves by Grégoire Rousseau
STORY: a table full of good food, glasses and smiles under a large chestnut tree and the desire to create a wine was born between two companions: Thomas Delpy, from Petites Caves and Grégoire Rousseau, winemaker organic and free, from Winery Coquelicot in Périgord. A unique wine was born two years later, powerful and round, to be drunk with an autumn meal or under a tree, with pretty lamb chops with Provence herbs...
TASTING NOTES: a magnificent dark ruby red colour that makes our eyes sparkle.
A nose of garrigue dried by a summer sun, small black fruits and a beautiful mineral graphite touch that will be found in the mouth. The tannins, although present, are beautiful, fine and supple as Grégoire knows how to do with his Merlot. The minerality is there in the middle of a superb fresh and elegant structure.
It is as much a wine for cochonnailles with good friends as it is for a meal around a barbecue where beautiful lamb chops are grilled, without forgetting the more wintry moments by the fire. There is no doubt that this wine will make people happy, as with all the wines of our friend Grégoire Rousseau.
