A Winery a Family Passion

Founded in 2014 by Jérôme François, La Grange de l’Oncle Charles is an Alsatian Winery located in the family barn in Ostheim. In its early days, the Winery a 0.5-hectare plot, bequeathed by his grandfather. Today, Jérôme and Morgane Stoquert cultivate 6 hectares of vineyards using organic and biodynamic farming methods . Theyare part of the “living wines” movement :-)

An exceptional Alsatian terroir

The Winery from diverse terroirs, including plots on the prestigious Schlossberg Grand Cru. The clay-limestone soils and sunny exposure of Ostheim provide ideal conditions for growing a mosaic of Alsatian grape varieties: Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Chasselas, Sylvaner, Kerner, Auxerrois, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.

Wines born of respect for Mother Nature

La Grange de l’Oncle Charles stands out for its commitment to environmental responsibility. The vineyards are maintained without chemicals, using horses and sheep for tilling the soil. The wines are made without additives, using native yeasts and minimal sulfites. The Winery Ecocert-certified and practices biodynamics, ensuring pure and authentic wines.

Jérôme François and Morgane Stoquert offer unique wines, often made from rare grape varieties and bold blends:

• “Le Village des Amoureux” – A white blend with fruity and floral notes, perfect for aperitifs and light meals.
• “Mille Lieux” – A complex blend of 14 grape varieties, with mineral notes and a long finish, perfect for lovers of full-bodied wines.
• “La Danse des Corbeaux” – Available as a red or white depending on the vintage, this cuvée captivates with its balance and finesse.
