The nose opens with aromas of black cherry, supple leather, and warm earth, with a deep profile featuring spicy notes and a touch of wildness (which we love in a Gevrey). The palate is full-bodied, with firm tannins, and has a direct, energetic character. A vibrant and deep wine. An intense Gevrey-Chambertin—and, it must be said, one that’s perfectly crafted!
