Saumur-Champigny. A well-known appellation, too well known perhaps, and which does not always have an excellent reputation. Jean-Noël Millon is one of those winegrowers of the Saumur region that you should know because his wines are of great quality! Jean-Noël wanted to go back to the basics of the business of winemaker by taking over the family Winery in 2002. In red, his vintages are rich, deep, joyful and digestible due to impeccable work in the vines with scraping, grassing and respect for biodiversity, following the lunar calendar. |
Today Jean-Noël is at the head of The Source du Ruaulta Winery of 14 ha planted mainly in Cabernet Franc, the Grape variety king of the Loire. The Winery has been biodynamic since 2007 and Jean-Noël Millon has made a name for himself through the sincerity of his juices and the straightness of his wines. Discreet but efficient, a winemaker from Saumur for insiders. And we love his wines, for God's sake! |
