Natural wines in the heart of the Maranges terroir

This wonderful little Winery , created in 1998, nestles at the bottom of the Maranges valley, south of Meursault, home to little-known appellations that are finally finding their place among the Grands de Bourgogne.

Winery des Rouges Queues has been run magnificently since 2025 by Isabelle and her daughter Noémie. It comprises 6 ha of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Santenay, Maranges and Hautes Côtes de Beaune and Bourgogne Aligoté appellations .

A Winery of Burgundy in biodynamic farming 

The Winery les Rouges Queues has been biodynamic since 2008, the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are pampered with great respect: ploughing with a horse, no insecticides or weed killers, indigenous yeasts to start the fermentation, little filtration and, of course, minimal use of sulphur.

The maturation period of about 10 months is in barrels of several wines and has little impact on the different vintages.
