A family Winery in the heart of the Tarn

Winery Pech del Cel, located in Cahuzac-sur-Vère, embodies the authenticity and winemaking tradition of the Gaillacois region. Founded at the end of the ^19th century, this family-run Winery has seen several generations of enthusiasts, from Marcellin to Grégory Aurel, the current winemaker with the help of his wife Laure. Each generation has passed on its love of the land and the vines, creating a rich and lively history.

A vineyard committed to organic farming

Today covering 4 hectares, the Pech del Cel vineyard is made up of grape varieties that are emblematic of the South-West, including Grape variety blanc star Len de l'El (Far from the Eye) and also a bit of Syrah, Braucol, Duras, Mauzac rose and Sauvignon. Since 2016, the Winery has embarked on a conversion to organic farming, with a certification obtained in 2020. The vines are grown without the use of synthetic chemicals, promoting biodiversity and soil health.

Natural wines reflecting the terroir of Gaillac

The Winery 's philosophy is based on natural winemaking: hand-picking, use of indigenous yeasts, no fining and maximum reduction of sulfites. Each cuvée expresses the typicity of the Gaillac terroir, offering red wines with spicy, fruity aromas, and whites with floral and mineral notes. Biodynamic practices and respect for lunar cycles reinforce the authenticity of each bottle produced.

The Winery's emblem, the owl, symbolizes wisdom and local roots.
