Les Cargadous 2023 - Vin de France - Clos de la Barthassade
In 2023, new grape varieties are added to the cuvée: along with the "old" Roussanne and Chenin, Carignan Blanc, Chardonnay and Vermentino are added. The result is a little more roundness and complexity in this magnificent southern white.
A powerful wine with a tauter mid-palate. Attractive aromas of white fruit and citrus blossom on the nose and palate, with a long finish of light bitters and a hint of saltiness that adds freshness and clarity.
A fine white wine for a meal: fish with flesh, but also fine cheeses!
