We're talking to you about his Winery
Patrice Colin's Winery , 27 hectares, is located in Thoré, near Vendôme, in Touraine. Planted on flint clay, the Pineau d'Aunis, some of which date back to 1890, Chenin (nearly 80 years old), Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay, give wines of incredible purity marked by the terroir and balance. In recent years, only the old Pineau d'Aunis and Chenin have been kept after a restructuring of Winery resulting in a 30% grubbing up. | Patrice Colin's impeccable work (indigenous yeasts, temperature control, well-integrated woody aromas) produces wines that keep well and can be drunk simply but also with delicate dishes. A great winemaker, in love with his job, shy but efficient, on an appellation of the Val-de-Loire unfortunately little (re)known of an exceptional value for money and which deserves its awards and other references (RVF, Le Point,...) ! |
