The new generation of Cahors
Fabien Jouves ' approach to his Mas del Périé - in Trespoux, near Cahors - is more than sound, the vines are beautiful, the landscape is magnificent. We still wonder how others manage to make, let's say, not very good. It is a desolation for Fabien who would so much like the Cahors appellation to regain its golden coat of arms. Our only son, after a few years of oenological studies, returned to the family Wineryin 2006. To do well, to do better, to progress, to understand. He fell in love with Eric Pfifferling's wines (Wineryl'Anglore) and his Tavel in particular, and has since discovered the family of natural wines.

His work at Wineryhas been evolving over the last few years in this direction and luckily it is not too complicated either to take over the vines - never chemically treated by the old ones - or in the management of the vineyard work with already a Bio-dynamic certification... His wines are all without added sulphite!
A magnificent terroir
With the help of the father who looks at his son, his eye sparkling with pride! The WineryMas del Périé is divided into several corners at the exit of the village, never very far. This division is also due to the different soils, with different compositions, sometimes red clay, sometimes limestone, sometimes stony areas. The vintages are named after different places: Escures, les Acacias,... and la Pièce, very old vines, the darlings of Fabien Jouves. It must be said, when walking around, that these vines are impressive!
