We're talking to you about his Winery
The story of the Mas de mon Père began in the Languedoc, on the slopes of the Massif de Malepère, in 2005, where Frédéric Palaciostook over the vines from his grandfather Pierre and moved into his parents' maison to build a gravity-fed winery. With 6 years of experience discovering the other appellations of the region, from the Minervois to Saint-Chinian, he decided to commit himself, as of the 2006 vintage, to organic farming with ECOCERT certification. The Winery extends over 5.5 hectares with a very diversified Grape varieties (merlot, cabernet, malbec, carignan, grenache, cinsault for the reds; chardonnay, sauvignon and chasan for the whites). |
The philosophy of Frédéric's wines is to retranscribe the effect of the vintage and its terroir as best as possible. The grapes are harvested by hand and the vinification is carried out on a parcel-by-parcel basis. The honesty that emerges from Frédéric's wines, both fleshy and fresh, is much appreciated; a style that will please everyone! |
