| As the harvest progresses, Jean Foillard, winemaker , a passionate perfectionist from Villié-Morgon, refines and refines his wines, always experimenting to find that little bit extra that will make the difference. He has also obtained this difference via a schistous parcel of the mythical Côte de Py climate! The Winery elaborates vintages with finesse, lightness, balance and vibrations: a must! Jean is the son of winemaker, grandson of winemaker and a cooper... His father called him back to his side in the early 1980s to help him quickly take over the family Winery . | In 1985, he got closer to his neighbour Marcel Lapierre to follow the know-how of Jules Chauvet, to elaborate wines worthy of their terroirs and to find their style. He also became an accomplice of Guy Breton, Yvon Métras, Valette father and son, Jean-Paul Thevenet, etc. A group of winegrowers who went against the grain but were all free and independent. |
