We're talking to you about his Winery
It is in the Corbières maritimes, between Narbonne and Perpigann, that Magali Terrier drives her magnificent Winery of 20 ha of vines in the middle of garrigues and pine forests, above the ponds, facing the sea! An ideal place to implement a natural and healthy viticulture with the help of a beautiful diversity of Languedoc grape varieties: important sunshine, omnipresent wind, proximity of the sea which brings an air charged with humidity, deep and very stony soils. At Winery of the 2 The vines are cultivated with a lot of common sense and in a 'natural' way. No fertiliser is used, and the vines are always encouraged to put down roots. The natural defences are strengthened by adding a few preparations borrowed from biodynamics. The aim is to obtain a raw material that is ripe and in a healthy state. | For more than a month the team of pickers will criss-cross the vines to bring the grapes back to the vatting house. These will undergo as little action as possible: indigenous yeasts, minimum sulphur, no other inputs (natural wines). The classic actions of maceration, destemming, vatting time etc, are done according to their desires, their intuitions, their palate. Only gentle punching down of the cap (at the foot) is done to respect the fruit. Finally, most of the grape varieties are blended during vinification according to their taste and maturity. For Winery des 2 Anes, the harmonization passes by this early blending. |
