Champagne - Les Rouges Maisons 2020 - Champagne Laherte Frères
This cuvée is the result of winemaker 's winemaker vinifier's long work: waiting for the grapes to reach perfect ripeness, slow alcoholic fermentation in barrels, and 18 months of aging on fine lees... all this to reveal the richness and complexity of Pinot Noir... with great finesse!
Cultivation practices: vines cultivated with respect for living organisms.
Blend:
• 100% Pinot Noir – Les Rouges Maisons. Rich, moist soil. High clay content, with flint fragments. Mid-slope location. Planted in 1983.
Vinification:
• Grapes harvested at optimum ripeness. Traditional pressing
• Alcoholic fermentation in barrels
• Malolactic fermentation carried out
• Aged on fine lees for 18 months
