La Porte Saint-Jean 2023 - Saumur-Champigny red - Sylvain Dittière
This wine is characterized by a beautiful touch. On the nose and palate, there are hints of ripe fruit (red and black) and a few smoky notes (not uncommon in this cuvée).
Aged for 18 months (in barrels several years old), this wine's fine, elegant structure is a perfect match for this 40-year-old Cabernet Franc. Great, beautiful, clean finish. This wine can be decanted when young or cellared for some time.
