Les Monettes 2023 - Rousette de Savoie - Winery Lucey
A bright pale lemon color that promises a fresh and easy-to-drink white wine. An expressive nose of citrus and minerality, nuanced by delicate hints of noble bitterness that whet the appetite. The palate is round and generous, balanced by a lovely acidity, revealing flavors of yellow stone fruits (peach, pear, apricot) and lemon zest. This cuvée comes from a single 2-hectare plot with deep soil that is highly resistant to drought and helps to preserve freshness and minerality. The name of this cuvée, Les Monettes, simply comes from the name of this plot in the land registry. It is vinified and aged entirely in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts.
