Menetou-Salon Rouge 2022 - Winery Philippe Gilbert
A 100% pinot noir cuvée from vines averaging 30 years old, spread over 5 parcels of Kimmeridgian soil.
After hand-picking and de-stemming most of the grapes, the must macerates for three to four weeks in 90 hectoliter truncated wooden vats. Maturing takes place in the same vats for the first year, then in cement vats for the second winter.
A delicate, fruity, elegant Pinot Noir that goes equally well with braised meats and fatty fish!
