Tempête 2022 - Vin de France - Château Lestignac
This wine touched us with its finesse and purity, a straightforward, clean wine with polished, wise tannins. The palate is fresh and fruity. A very, very nice juice to start off this magnificent Winery.
Vinification: Merlot and Cabernet franc are vinified separately, each in concrete, each in whole bunches on a bed of crushed grapes. They macerate for two weeks. Extraction is gentle, with light punching of the cap. Once fermentation is complete, the grape varieties are blended in concrete vats for 18 months' ageing.
