Rémi SÉDÈS

Rémi is originally from the Jura region, where he actually has a few cousins who are winemakers in Château. However, having always lived in Paris, he set his sights in his youth on pursuing serious studies in agronomy, but the frenetic pace of preparatory classes threw him off track. He then opted for what he himself describes as a bohemian lifestyle... As an accordionist, he joined a small band from eastern France, Les Tontons Zingueurs. It’s easy to see how much these experiences helped cultivate in Rémi a deep sensitivity and a taste for meaningful connections. In 2004, he turned a new page and began to take an interest in wine. He then left northern France and headed for the Libourne region. He learned and trained in the vineyards—often conventionally farmed—in Saint-Émilion, Fronsac, the Entre-Deux-Mers region, and finally in the Côtes de Francs, at Château Puy. Other encounters led him to Nantes in 2010, where he worked for two years at Vincent Caillé’s estate in Monnières, and it was there that Rémi truly discovered organic farming.
