A Young, Committed Member of " winemaker "

Born in 1995, Vincent Ruiz is a winemaker ( winemaker ) from the Ardèche region who began his career in 2018 at the “ Winery ” in Cornas, working alongside Franck Balthazar. In 2020, he launched his own wines in Saint-Romain-de-Lerps, in northern Ardèche. His approach is guided by a core belief: to produce vibrant wines that respect the life of the soil, the vines, and those who drink them.

A High-Altitude, Clay-Limestone Terroir

Vincent Ruiz’s vineyards are located in the Ardèche hills, at an elevation of about 450 meters, on a clay-limestone plateau between Vallon-Pont-d’Arc and Saint-Montan. This late-ripening terroir gives the wines remarkable freshness. The grape varieties grown using organic farming methods include primarily Syrah, Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Carignan, and Grenache Blanc.

Natural and Sustainable Viticulture

Vincent Ruiz practices organic and natural viticulture (without certification), using methods that go beyond mere labels. His grapes are harvested at just the right ripeness, withwhole-cluster harvesting, without punching down or pumping over. Fermentation is spontaneous, and aging takes place in stainless steel tanks without added sulfur (when possible) or filtration. His wines are distinguished by their purity, aromatic precision, and freshness.

The Signature Vintages

Vincent Ruiz offers wines that reflect the uniqueness of his terroir:

• “Yseult Mon Amour” (Syrah, Vin de France) – An iconic red wine made from organic Syrah, vinified as whole clusters with spontaneous fermentation and no added sulfites. A deep, fruity, and spicy wine with silky tannins.
• Les Noces Alchimiques (Grenache- Vin de France) – A rich, fruity red wine with aromas of ripe red berries and sweet spices.
• À l'Ami Faust (Cinsault - Vin de France) – a light and fresh wine, ideal as an aperitif or with summer dishes.
