Young winemaker from Languedoc

Thomas Chany is a young winemaker , 26 years old (in 2021), who farms just 1ha in the Languedoc region of France in Puisserguier (34).
After studying for a BTS VITI OENO with internships with Yannick Pelletier and Luc and Patricia Bettoni (Winery Les EMINADES) for the vinification (2014).
Employed since 2016 at Winery Les EMINADES, Thomas Chany works his vines in his spare time at the end of the day and at weekends. During 2021 he should acquire a few more grenaches.

Wines without added sulphite

He currently offers two wines: Mangourass 2018, made from 100% old Carignan grapes, This is the third vintage of this wine, which is surprisingly balanced and fresh—the natural winemaking approach clearly plays a big part in that! There’s also a white wine: Trémières, a lovely, fruit-forward Muscat. To put it simply, we were all unanimous in our enthusiasm for these natural wines from Thomas Chany which we highly recommend.
