FRUIT WINES OF ALSACE
As the name suggests, winemaker is looking for wines that are fruity, fresh and drinkable. Juicy and accessible wines, natural wines that will "flow at any time. Find, for example, The Gardens 2019a Riesling from Winery Ostertag or A Pas de Velours 2019a pinot noir without added sulphite from Christophe Lindenlaub.
THE TERROIR WINES OF ALSACE
Here we find organic and natural wines bearing the name of a locality, emblematic of a terroir, a soil and a Grape variety (riesling, sylvaner, gewurztraminer...).The grapes come from the same plot and the winemaker highlights the minerality of the latter. Petites Caves has selected some Alsace terroir wines like Zellberg 17/18a sylvaner from Winery Julien Meyer, Clos du Val d'Éléon 2018a biodynamic riesling/pinot gris blend from Winery Marc Kreydenweiss or Fronholz 2018a biodynamic muscat from Winery Ostertag.
THE GREAT WINES OF ALSACE
These are organic and natural wines from exceptional terroirs due to their geology, climate and exposure. 51 Alsatian terroirs have been declared Grand Cru. Racy, powerful and fine wines. These are natural wines to be kept or decanted in their youth. On line at Petites Caves Muenchberg Grand Cru 2018A magnificent Riesling without added sulphite from winemaker Patrick Meyer, Schlossberg Grand Cru 2016a Riesling from Christian Binner or the Moenchberg Grand Cru 2018a biodynamic pinot gris by Antoine Kreydenweiss.
THE BUBBLES OF ALSACE
Alsatian bubbles are a standard as an aperitif or with dessert. Nothing better to wake up and toast with family or friends. On Petites Caves you can find the Sparkling Emmaa Cremant d'Alsace from Patrick Meyer, another Crémant d'Alsace on the 2017 vintage at Winery Marc Kreydenweiss or the KB Extra-Brut 2013a Crémant d'Alsace from Winery Binner.
MACERATION WINES FROM ALSACE
Whether short or long, with maceration, this is another reading of Alsatian white grape varieties. These orange wines are fresh wines, with a roundness in the mouth brought by the tannins, all balanced by beautiful acidities.
