We're talking to you about his Winery
"Un Coin sur Terre", a small coin sur terre created by Edouard and Lane Sentex in 2015. This little corner is called Vauvert (Gard), the southernmost vineyard in the Rhône Valley, since it lies at the gateway to the Camargue. Precisely located at the center of a triangle formed by the towns of Nîmes, Montpellier and Arles, overlooking the Petite Camargue at the junction of Languedoc and Provence. The Winery , though young, is not in the hands of a beginner. Edouard has been building his reputation for many years, including 4 years in the Bordeaux region (where he was born), working on family estates as well as prestigious ones (Château Haut-Brion). In 2006, he moved to the Gard, with a job in technical management at Winery Scamandre, where he switched to organic farming for 7 years. Edouard then set off to see what was happening in Chile in 2010 and New Zealand in 2013. It was then that Edouard decided to meet up with Lane, then stationed in China. They met when Lane, in 2012, was working at Winery , a neighbor of Winery Scamandre. After their reunion in China, they took the opportunity to travel around the Pacific and decided to return to this little corner of the world where their love was born.... |
The circle is complete and this project will take shape from 2015 with the help of many people. "We guarantee that all our wines are produced with indigenous yeasts, with little or no sulphite, without fining or filtration to guarantee our customers the best representation of our terroir and our know-how. A superb project, full of energy, desire and know-how. We were as enthusiastic about our meeting as we were about the quality of the wines we tasted. Edouard, keep going! All the best! |
