All about organic and natural wines from the Languedoc

The Languedoc: an increasingly renowned wine region

One of France's largest wine regions, the Languedoc is a land of many emotions and a long way to come. From the east of Montpellier to Narbonne, the wines have long had a bad reputation, but today many winegrowers claim to be typical of their terroirs through meticulous work in both viticulture and vinification. From now on, and to see more clearly in this mosaic of expression, it will be necessary to count on 3 levels: theAppellation d'Origine Protégée (AOP) Languedoc, the AOP Grand Vin du Languedoc and finally the AOP Grand Cru du Languedoc.

The diversity of Languedoc wines

The production is globally in reds, then rosés, whites with some sweet wines and sparkling wines. The range of grape varieties is very wide: grenache, syrah, carignan, mourvèdre and cinsault for the reds; white or grey grenache, clairette, vermentino, viognier, among others, for the whites. Here are some of the winemakers you can find on Petites Caves : Léon Barral, Clos Constantin, Ludovic Engelvin, Julien Peyras, Le Temps des Cerises, Wa-Sud among many others (more than twenty!), do not hesitate to discover their natural wines.

With the selection of Petites Caves, you can discoverorganic wines , biodynamic wines andnatural wines from the Languedoc which will seduce you thanks to the exceptional work of the winegrowers that our expert sommelier has selected for you.
