Origines Croisées - Champagne 1er cru - Bertrand-Delespierre
Precise, elegant champagne with aromas of lemon, roasted apple and toasted brioche, fresh and lively on the palate, with a chalky, saline finish. Excellent with refined dishes such as veal sweetbreads. A cuvée often noted for its finesse and energy!
Worth knowing:
a cuvée made from Chardonnay (50%) from the Bertrand family and Pinot Noir (50%) from the Delespierre family. The grapes are harvested in the Chamery and Ecueil crus. The base wine comes from the 2014 vintage, and is aged in 600-liter demi-muids.
