A spirit is an alcoholic beverage obtained by distillation, possibly followed by maceration or infusion of raw materials. These manufacturing processes distinguish them from alcoholic beverages produced by fermentation (beer, wine, cider). Whisky (or whiskey), brandies from Alsace or elsewhere, cherry, raspberry or pear... by the fire, after a good dinner with a few friends... what a pleasure!
Made from organically grown grapes, natural wine aims to find the expression of a terroir, far from formatted and conventional practices. By rejecting the use of chemicals, the winemaker "natural" , sensitive to the respect of its environment, makes a living and free wine. Natural wines, natural wines, organic wines...whatever the name, the main principles are there: the will for all the selected winegrowers to offer wines in an organic or even biodynamic spirit. Grapes often harvested by hand, vintages with little or no added sulphite, wines made with a maximum of indigenous yeasts,... Respect for authenticity, for nature and for your health!
