This cuvée is a co-fermentation of 3 grape varieties: Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Semillon, with a short maceration of just two days for destemmed grapes.
Terroir: clay-limestone (Castillon limestone), north-facing soils.
Early spring frosts (much less fruit than expected), cool, wet spring, cool summer, wet harvest. Viticulture was the key to this vintage.
