We loved the complexity of this wine, with its light oxidative notes that add complexity and freshness. There are hints of smoke, dried fruit, toasted sesame and white flowers.
The attack is ample (roundness), then the acidity settles in and lingers for a long time, with the return of a few smoky notes (brioche).
A mealtime wine that's a real favorite!
Aging: Half-fermentation in barrels, with indigenous yeasts, no added sulfites.
Aged 13 months in oak barrels. Bâtonnage on lees. Unfined, unfiltered.
