Enchanted Wave 2024 - Anjou - Winery
Still Chenin. This is a blend from various plots on schist soils. The vines are in the process of converting to organic farming. Yields are around 25 hl/ha. Hand-harvested, using native yeasts. Aged on lees, including 12 months in oak barrels and 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
A white Anjou with aromas of pear, apple, lemon, and flowers; the palate is lively and taut, with depth and minerality, and a salty finish. A wine of purity and energy, ideal to drink now but will age well for 5–7 years.
