Le Winery des Rouges Queues | Isabelle Vantey
Natural wines in the heart of the Maranges terroirThis wonderful little Winery in 1998, is nestled deep in the Maranges Valley, south of Meursault—a region of little-known appellations that are finally taking their place among Burgundy’s greats. The Winery Rouges Queues has been beautifully run since 2025 by Isabelle and her daughter Noémie. It comprises 6 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Santenay, Maranges, and Hautes Côtes de Beaune appellations , as well as Bourgogne Aligoté. |
A Winery of Burgundy in biodynamic farmingThe Winery les Rouges Queues has been biodynamic since 2008, the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are pampered with great respect: ploughing with a horse, no insecticides or weed killers, indigenous yeasts to start the fermentation, little filtration and, of course, minimal use of sulphur. The maturation period of about 10 months is in barrels of several wines and has little impact on the different vintages. |
