Saumur-Champigny. A well-known appellation—perhaps too well-known—that doesn’t always have the best reputation. Jean-Noël Millon is one of those winemakers from the Saumur region you really should get to know, because his wines are of exceptional quality!

Jean-Noël wanted to go back to the basics of the business of winemaker by taking over the family Winery in 2002. In red, his vintages are rich, deep, joyful and digestible due to impeccable work in the vines with scraping, grassing and respect for biodiversity, following the lunar calendar.

 Today, Jean-Noël heads La Source du Ruault, a Winery planted primarily with Cabernet Franc, the Grape variety of Loire Grape variety . The Winery biodynamic since 2007, and Jean-Noël Millon has made a name for himself through the authenticity of his juices and the integrity of his wines. Discreet yet effective, he’s a winemaker known to connoisseurs. And we love his wines—by Jove!
