Le Mas de Mon Pere

The story of Mas de Mon Père began in the Languedoc, on the slopes of the Malepère Massif, in 2005. Frédéric Palacios took over his grandfather Pierre's vineyards and moved into his parents' maison to build a gravity-filled cellar.
With 6 years' experience of discovering other appellations in the region, from Minervois to Saint-Chinian, he decided to go organic with ECOCERT certification from the 2006 vintage.

The Winery 5.5 hectares and features a Grape varieties variety Grape varieties : Merlot, Cabernet, Malbec, Carignan, Grenache, and Cinsault for the reds; Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Chasan for the whites. Frédéric Palacios’s philosophy for his wines is to best capture the character of the vintage and its terroir. The grapes are, of course, harvested by hand, and winemaking is done on a plot-by-plot basis.

We really appreciate the honesty that comes through in Fréderic’s wines, which are both full-bodied and fresh; we’re convinced this style will appeal to everyone!
