Mistelle Liqueur de Comptoir L.2010 - Charles Dufour
Mistelle or Ratafia is obtained from fresh grape must and grape brandy. This addition blocks the fermentation and offers a liqueur with an unctuousness (sweetness). We are close to the elaboration of a Pineau des Charentes with the difference that the mutage must be carried out after a slight beginning of fermentation here to be able to be called Mistelle.
Charles Dufour uses his perpetual reserve from the year's harvest.
It starts with aromas of candied white fruit. Roundness and a clean finish, clear and not too heavy! To be drunk slightly chilled (10, 12°c)
