Valentin Morel, winemaker the Jura (Winery ), produces magnificent wines that perfectly reflect the beautiful Jura terroir and winemaker a dynamic and promising winemaker . Known for being relatively difficult to work with, these soils are cultivated using organic farming methods. After studying law and working as a civil servant attached to the prefecture, Valentin decided to return to his farming roots in the Jura. This choice was a natural evolution, a career change shaped by his reading on the value of work and the intellectual approach to professions often mistakenly considered merely manual. In 2014, Valentin will take over the 6-hectare Winery Morel and name it "Les Pieds sur Terre", which reflects first of all a state of mind, but also a tribute to the pioneers of "bio". Here, the soils are essentially made up of Triassic marls, more or less heavy, and require a great deal of work in the vineyard to encourage soil life, particularly with the help of the pickaxe, the tool par excellence of winemaker.
