We are definitely on ripe red fruit notes like cherry, wild strawberry, the nose and mouth evolve towards fine floral (touches of peony) and white pepper.
The 18-month ageing (in barrels of several years old) brings a fine, elegant structure that matches perfectly with this 40-year-old Cabernet Franc. Great and beautiful finish, frank, clear and almost greedy. This wine can be decanted in its youth or kept for some time.
