Loire wines: our selection of organic, biodynamic and natural wines
From the Atlantic to the Centre region, the Loire vineyard is very vast. With soils of schist, silica, chalk (tufa) or clay, and a climate that varies from mild oceanic to harsh continental, it is easy to understand the great diversity in its natural wines. The same grape varieties are found in the sixty or so appellations: cabernet, gamay, pinot noir, pineau d'Aunis, côt, melon, sauvignon, chardonnay, chenin, romorantin... Some of the white wines are racy, with great ageing potential, dry, semi-dry, sweet and sparkling ; others are simpler , more fresh and light. The red wines have a good range of fresh, fruity, crisp and easy to digest wines.
